On an unseasonably warm and sunny day, with Mini and MrChill, I took a road trip in my new car to Chinley in the High Peak.
Surrounded by tall green hills and beautiful country side, the old Dorma works spreads out, abandoned and silent.
Entrance was too easy and large parts of the site have been layed waste to by chavs. Amongst the ruins, however are hidden relics which testify to the impressive works former glory.
I have been experimenting with Picasa as you will see from the following pictures. Please enjoy them and let me know what you think.
A lot of broken glass.
