These photos were all taken between January and March, from a number of different trips along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
In summer these places get overrun by tourists, but the winter drops down to as low as minus twenty degrees - everything at the seafront gets boarded up and abandoned, so I couldn't resist having a bit of a nose around.
Quite a few of the bars and restaurants are left empty, boarded up, and used to store boats and furniture in. There is even a massive water slide out on the beach, which was covered with snow and hanging with icicles. Nothing big or clever here, but I enjoyed it all the same!
