Sorry about this folks its a year old though having seen Cats report on Southwick Club it inspired me to dig this one out. Krypton has a report on it already here which was why i didnt bother at the time. Shame to see such a fine old working mens club in such a sorry state still i suppose its a sign of the times and of course with Easington colliery now closed with all the other local collieries wouldnt have helped matters. I think this place closed around 2009 looking at the paperwork not to sure about its current state though it was still standing about 6 months ago.

Ahh yes Thick and Thin a great local act like many others the life blood of the local north east club scene i wonder what there doing now.

This place seems massive once inside a bit like the tardis well worth a look though as i said earlier not sure about its current state.
