Facit Mill is built of Accrington brick which was built to replace a mill on this site which was demolished in 1904.
The mill was a former cotton mill employing 700 people in its heyday until its closure in the mid 1960s.
Didn't get many pics sadly and completely forgot any externals.
The tiled engine room is the best i've seen to date.
On entering this room the pigeons scattered, one flew straight into the wall and knocked self out
Not the nicest place to spend most of the time on the floor, i was giving my new leg to bring home the day after... typical.
