Firs Park is the former home of East Stirlingshire F.C. which is surprisingly situated in Falkirk and not Stirling. It had a seating capacity of 200 with a further capcity for 1600 standing.
The stadium was originally opened in 1921 however closed at the end of the 2007-2008 season due to the costs of improving the stadium and also due to new regulations set by the SFA. It was supposed to be used as an administrative centre and training facility by the club but this is clearly not the case.
I believe they are trying to sell off the ground for development with planning permission currently going through the works.

We visited on a cracker of a day with the sun splitting the sky. We even brought a ball so we could have a kick about and have a go at the crossbar challenge but as you'll see playing football on the pitch is near on impossible.

The interior of the main stand has been set on fire several times by the looks of it with both home and away changing rooms absolutely trashed and burned beyond recognition.

The club crest sits atop the main stand:

We found this in the long grass on the pitch. A letter from the SFA regarding fixtures in the 2001/2002 season:

Surprised to find this amongst the rubbish. A Wrexham fixture list:

A half time lotto ticket. I didn't win though :(

A surprising find amongst the ashes of the burnt out interior. There was a ton of account information including completed cheque books, payments along with the things in the photo. The football handbook was a quality item and I'm sure someone probably shouldn't have left the 'Dealing with Bomb Threats' manual behind.

One of two remaining turnstiles left at the ground. I guess the others will be in some die hard's living room:
