Took a look at Garvald post while on a visit to Scotland last week. It was last visited in mid-2007.

Not a lot seems to have changed. A few things moved about, but luckily it seems intact still. The monitoring room is dry, with a small amount of water in the sump.
I had a small tidy while I was down there. Coiled the post rope up clear of the water and hung it over the pump handle. I left the monitoring room door ajar to allow the air to circulate.
The Glitto is still intact
