This lovely cinema was opened in 1932 with a showing of the film Emma. It is designed in the Art Deco style and loads of the original features remain inside. I was lucky enough to get in but it is now sealed again by the security company so don't waste your time visiting
The bottom floor has been converted to a bingo hall and a suspended ceiling cuts of the fabulous circle seating upstairs, all still intact since 1962:w00t. The projectors are still there and a couple of arc rectifiers but they are very old fashioned and haven't worked in a while.
A great site and a one in a thousand chance I caught it open. Loads more info on the cinema HERE

The Bingo Hall downstairs, now derelict and has been since 2003
Upstairs above the "modern" suspended ceiling, incredible.
Art Deco foyer and entrance to upstairs circle.
Projection room and arc recifiers.
Some random ones.
Behind the stage.
