Harboro Rubber Co, Market Harborough
A Grade II listed former steam-driven flour mill built in 1860 for Blandfords, which was subsequently purchased by the Harborough Rubber Company in 1894. Harborough Rubber was owned by the Briggs family who were expanding their boot manufacturing works in Leicester - they went on to produce things such as pedal blocks (both for cars and bicycles), buttons and rubber soles for shoes, with their brand ‘Dainite’ being particularly popular.
In 2006 they relocated to more modern works elsewhere in Market Harborough. Part of the site was cleared in the years since, just leaving this little three storey mill awaiting redevelopment.

Did I mention it was absolutely battering it down with rain all day? It was nice to be indoors but it was gloomy af inside
With the price of colour film being ridiculous still, I was being pretty frugal with it here, but since it’s only a tiny place I’m sure it’s be enough to get the jist of it.
