The example of a Padded Cell at the Stephen Beaumont Museum of Mental Health also has one (ex Rampton I believe)

Maybe I am wrong, but thought there would been at least 2 padded cells in a hospital as large as this?

very good thread OT

The hospital is massive but the asylum block is only 2 wards. It would have only been for males presumibly too so actually very small in comparison to the county asylums etc.
