Helical Works, West Bromwich (May 2014)

The second to last explore of a brilliant, but very tiring and eventful weekend in May '14. After a mostly successful day in Leicester, @catbalou and myself said our goodbyes to @Session9
and made the journey to West Bromwich to recce this location in daylight, before finding a
local establishment for food, refreshments, and to kill time until the planned early morning entry.
A few hours of extremely loud Asian music, several refreshments, and some
horrendously spicy chips later, we left and headed to the cars for a few hours hypothermic kip. In
the small hours I dragged myself up rather grumpily and had a red bull for breakfast. Access then was interesting indeed. We knew that a proportion of the site was still being rented out to other small businesses so when daylight came there was a bit of waving at various PIRs and
camera dodging as we were not entirely sure whether they were working or not. Quite a cautious wander whilst we were around the front area but luckily didn't set anything off on this visit and left unnoticed after a good few hours in there.

Fast forward a year..

After an early morning wander around Selly Oak Hospital and Mortuary, myself @Raz and Fatpanda decided to head here to check the place out along with a few other local leads. The bits that I had seen before looked pretty much the same, no vandalism, no dickheads, no Facebook exposure and still no sign of the youtube/instagram brigade. Seems NP worked to an extent over the last year which was good.

We were a bit more necky this time around and wanted to cover more of the front area.
