You do say the station is derelict & show a photo of the main entrance, which is grotty but used a lot every day. Which do you mean by the "old engine shed"? The large green shed by the derelict train is a fairly recent structure. It hasn't been used because of a dispute over planning permission.

Nice report,

For anyone interested, these are the coaches that used to be at Crewe. I believe the West Coast Railway Company purchased them.
It is interesting. They are certainly on West Coast Rail land. I was told by a workman they are there waiting to be broken up for parts & that the yard at Carnforth is full. The train was dumped there 4.5 years ago. I walk up there most days.
