Hey there this is my first attempt at a report so go easy on me
Finding the information on this castle in a foreign country was no easy feat but here is what I found out.
It was built in 1760 in Baroque style and was a the estate of Hungarian/Austrian royalty. At some point there was an extension built between 1912-1920. At some point during the Russian occupation of Hungary the Castle was seized and converted into a hospital for mentally handicapped children, there was then a fire in 1986 which saw the evacuation of the Castle and a temporary roof being put on part, it was laid empty since and has been picked apart by people looking for scraps to sell
However shortly after my visit I found that the castle had been sold but it is still accessible at the moment.
