Really couldnt find any history on this, if anyone knows, please tell me as I'd be fascinated.
Was on a weekend away, cut short by a panic return to the UK as news mounts of a likely quarantine rule.
This large area sits on the coast to the wouth east corner of the city centre and caught my eye on the pre trip preparations.
Very much a shell.
It was a very dirty grimey area and the closest I have been to living in a computer game.
The place was trashed and every now and then you would come across a person who looked very much like a zombie, no reaction to me being there, walking slowly with a shuffle, eyes very glazed over. No obvious purpose. Probably high on drugs I guess. But it was very surreal and amusing.
Then a zomby train passed the scene which looked amazing.
Lots of good graf, and lots of crap lying around.
Not much to see really but quite photogenic and quite an experience when you were there.
Loads of small derelict properties in Faro region. No time though sadly.
