JH Weatherby's Stoke on Trent visited with Eotech and Oldskool, Thanks to Eotech for the tour of stoke, we managed to get three sites done two being pottery's it's said that this is the best to visit, well i will pass judgement until i've seen a few more but i doubt they get much better than this you can really feel the history in there with all the wooden stair well's and rack's of molds, looking at previous post's you can see that it;s been trashed a lot luckily there is still plenty to see the roof was removed for safety reasons as well. The kiln is fantastic still full of pott's and the iron bindings are amazing this was an absolute joy to visit.
HISTORY in breif.
JH Weatherby's and son's was founded in 1891, the following year moved to larger pottery(Falcon) at Henley and continued to produce fine quality pottery up until 2000 when it finally closed.
