Last Saturday Gorecki, our friend Frostie (I don't think he's on here) and myself headed up to Ladysbridge Hospital to check out some of the buildings Gorecki had't been to before. This was my first organised exploration in a few years, and this is my first report here.
It was a really nice day but sadly there were builders on site, Gorecki had a word with one of them to find out what was up, I think she chose to stop talking with him after he asked her out
We also planned to visit the old part of the hospital but that was in use by the builders too, so it'll have to be visited another day.
Anyway we headed up to the far end of the site avoiding the builders and here are some of my photos. (Click to see them at flickr for bigger shots)
^ In one of the far buildings, not sure what they were used for but they looked pretty standard.
^ Err, yeah.
^ I suspect this is pretty common, but room after room had plants attacking them, very nice
^ We found this in a basement area, the room was black dark so I had to make use of the flash.
^ Heading back towards the central buildings...
^ ...and the catering building.
I suspect this is the kitchen hall.
And just a few detail shots of stuff...
I hope that's an ok start, I also have shots from Westhall Castle Hotel that we went to on the same day so I'll get them up later.
