These are the bits that are not on the tour. Disused parts of shops become a dumping ground for unused stuff and the kitchens were no exception!
what was interesting is that the building was originally heated by steam, which also supplied the hot water through calorifiers. When this was abandoned, electric water heaters were provided, one of which is in the disused Gents toilet, though supplying lower floors.
