On my way to a couple of interesting sites (more info to follow, watch the "other Sites" forum) My Satnav "kerchinged" to advise an ROC post was within 1200 feet. As I have checked the Subbrit reports on all posts local to me (and this one was locked), I thought I would just ignore it. For some reason, though, I thought "What the hell". I stopped the car at a suitable location, geared up, and wandered off for a look.
Well, lo and behold, one hasp cut, one padlock unlocked. I inserted my Tbar (thanks Zimbob
) and hey presto, it was open. Quicker than a rat up a drainpipe, I was down the ladder
This was a 1991 closure. Interesting last entry in the book (or jotter as we used to call them at school
)
Just for the record, Subbrit have not been inside this one, and their last visit was 2006!
