Heres another report of this awesome place!
Visited with Trufflepig, Timtom, Heavenlyphoto and Pinky,
I couldnt believe the scale of this shelter, i was amazed at the height of the emergency exits (5 ladders each)!
Great to see it is in such good condition
original signs still in place
toilets
the sole remaining light bulb (i think)
original incoming supply cable (badly overheated - insulating compound has run out on to the floor!)
21st June 1944
door lock, door rotted away
doorway to emergency exit shaft
the only junk inside was old too
bent car bonnet (mini clubman??)
Cheers for inviting me along guys, was great to meet you all
wish i could have stayed longer
