History
Built in 1787, it served its local community for more than two centuries – but it is now a scene of torn Bibles, broken organs and smashed windows.Loxley Chapel in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, was closed in 1993, and now sits among overgrown plants as an eerie abandoned place of worship.
The Grade II-listed church, once known as Loxley Methodist Church and Loxley United Reformed Church, has been left in a shocking state of disrepair.

Myself and Elek did a little research on this place and of course the next day had a wander up! Had so much fun here especially getting in and out it was hilarious!! also hearing mysterious voices (as we bumped into fellow explorers) this has never happened when we have been to places and to say the least I was petrified ha ha!! I would also highly recommended wearing socks as I didnt and nettles are not friends.
Would just like to say thank you to Elek for finding Will again and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be able to see these wonderful places and get the photographs I do!
Anyway sorry for rambling on, Enjoy
Just for fun.
