I have seen this covered here before but much like anything different perspectives and people can bring different photos. On top of that the place is so large you can explore multiple times and always find something new, hence my many returns.
As of now they are in the middle of either abating the building and possible restoring it. They have removed all the broken glass in the windows and have started to remove asbestos, lead, etc.
Built in 1912 it was the worlds tallest train station with the addition of the 13 floors of office space that was never fully filled. The uppermost floors were never finished.
The last train pulled out of the station in 1988 and has sat vacant since. It was purchased by the Detroit International Bridge company in 1996 and fences were put up but nothing done about the deterioration till recently.
Multiple Movies were filmed here, including Transformers and The Island.
On with the pictures...
View from the front
Even though the office has 13 stories in the office the building is 18 stories tall, I ran all the way up to catch this sunrise over Detroit
The ramp that lead down to the trains
Waiting lobby
Main lobby
View down into the lobby
The crank used to open the main lobby windows
Main Elevator bank
A pano of an elevator bank on one of the upper floors

From the top
Some random Graffiti
View of the Motorcity Casino from the 13th floor
This is how bad the place has been stripped, missing wood paneling, electrical, even bricks and metal stair treads!
A rock pile an artist did on the 6th floor
Spider web in the morning sun
13h floor, my favorite
This is how much blight and dirt on the 12th floor
Front facade
12th floor
From the space between the high rise and lobby
Sorry for the length. If there is any questions feel free to ask, as they are rebuilding the place is now changing constantly
