Boxes of resin, we thought it was dynamite...

That's the stuff used to fix roof bolts into the rock - basically a two pack glue. Roof bolts being VERY long bolts that are used to hold the strata in compression - hence no need for passive steel supports.

Very high quality limestone.

Is this mine working at present or stopped?
