One of, if not the best brewery explorable today...
Speed Laura and I were keen to head back to explore the maltings in more depth, and it paid dividends. The maltings is one of the best preserved I have seen, with the Patent Stanley tiles and furnaces still in situ. We also found the Boby barrow graveyard, various breweryana and a few new rooms full of tat.
The malting furnace floor is lined with the largest enamel sign I have seen in my life...
Answers on a postcard as to what the hell the thing on top of the windvein is... a pleseosaurus??
Note the epic sized sign used to repair the floor!
The beauty of malting tiles from below. These are getting rare these days
Maltster's mess room, full of park drive packets and 70's Hardy bottles.
