Was passing here today so stopped and had a look up the north tower.
View looking across the river towards the town.
View west over the river towards Teesside Park/A19 flyover.
Big headstock, doesn't look like its turned in quite a while.
Counter weight buckets filled with railway track among other things.
Feet hurt, didn't have boots on and there's an amazing amount of bird shit, but the view was fantastic. My cheepo camera and cheepo skills don't do it justice.
Worth a look if you're in the area.
