Report - Newton Roc Post- September 2019

Hi all,

First post on here, thought I would share some recent photos I took of Newtons roc post last month. Couldn't find much information about this rock post online accept for its date of closure, 1968. The post is in quite bad condition, in the last 10 odd years most of the furniture has been removed or destroyed, recently someone has decided to paint over the charred walls in a attempt to bring back the matt white finish to the walls with little success.

Just a little update on this, visited this place again yesterday, only to find the interior freshly burned. Not much damage but still a shame. Looks like someone tried repainting it at some point, hence the patchy white paint
