Weird day, we managed to get up the silos before the torrential rain hit us, managed to get most of the building with our capable tour guide (thanks Boyo!)
This place has been done to death i know, but the weirdest thing happened on the way home (which i suppose makes this explore kind of unique) we broke down on some country road in the middle of nowhere... after skittles went to the nearest house he came back and said the woman had the kettle on. So we pushed the car down the road and went in for a coffee. Turns out the woman was a retired nurse who worked at the hospital and gave us some really cool insights into the hospital when it was live! really great experience. She was so cool, one of her neighbours brought round a bottle of whisky then left, i jokingly said 'we cracking that open now then' and she brought 3 bottles of whiskey out for me to choose from, have a couple of rather nice glasses of The Balvenie whiskey which she reccommended
then we went back on our way... great explore, thanks to all who attended which was:
