Last week the euro road trip was Belgium, this week another roadtrip put us in Berlin and on a sunny day there's few places better in the city to eat lunch than up on one of the towers here. Certainly the best view in Berlin.
I'm sure you all know, it was built by the USA on top of a pile of bits of the city from WW2 that are heaped up on top of the old Nazi technical institute. Like some fantastical layer cake of intrigue.
It was great to see lots of people walking around the site and up the towers, not explorer types, just cool people coming to see it and take photos or paint. We hung out with a cool skater couple from Stockholm. That's what euro tripping is about.
