Ok this is my first report (not my first exploration, but first write up) so bear with me. I've had a look through the FAQs and reviewed various posts on here but sorry if i make any newbie mistakes etc.

The NSA listening towers at Teufelsberg have been featured on the forums a few times here, and it was through this forum I first came across them. If you have not seen any reports on the NSA towers before, Teufelsberg (or devils mountain) is a hill outside of Berlin on which the NSA built a couple of listening posts during the Cold War. There is plenty of information about it online, and around this forum (as well as some pictures which are a lot better than mine!)

So during an interrailing trip in summer 2012 it was one of the sites at the top of my list to visit. I had been slightly concerned that the towers may be overcrowded/overrun as later reports had mentioned this as an issue due to the relative ease of access compared to other sites.

We were however pleasantly surprised and after managing to find our way to the location and then gaining access (a bit of climbing/crawling but nothing too strenuous) we were in. There were couple of other people there but its a pretty big site so it is easy enough to avoid and forget about them whilst exploring. So here are a few photos from the trip, there is a link down the bottom to one of the original 28dl reports from the site, there is a pretty stark contrast between them, with the towers in a pretty sorry state now in comparison.

Overall this was a pretty decent site, apart from the unreal views from the top, the inside of the buildings is pretty vast aswell and theres quite a lot to see. Although there has been a lot of vandalism across the buildings and there is a lot of graffiti, which may or may not be your thing. Berlin itself is one of my favourite cities and this is another experience which helps it out. Any feedback on my photos would be great, aswell as any tips/advice for the report itself as this is my first one and I plan on adding more as I go.
