Not too much info out there on this former Augustea workshops that up to thirty years ago was apparently the site of a “national wreckage”(?) factory. Over time, the stable was used as a ballroom, then abandoned and left "in the throes of toxins, bumps and vandals". In 2006, a Vicentine firm proposed a 34,000-square-foot mega-structure for tourism, with a hotel, restaurant, hostel, a bungalow area and sports facilities but that never materialised. Now the site sits abandoned in the centre of this historic northern Italian town.

Relaxed explore with some nice bits and bobs knocking around. Some of the buildings were in good nick and completely sealed and others were, as you can see from the Google Earth screen grab (above), totally gone.
