A local explore to me that I had a mooch around last summer. It even made the local papers due to being able to walk in and lots of personal documents laying around. It was quite a nice walk around due to the fact it was a former children's sanatorium. Some parts are really decayed and others are really clean. There was some graffiti, but strangely contained to one part.
The original sanatorium was built in 1913 and parents were transferred from a temporary building nearby. The sanatorium had it's own school on site. It was later used as a hospital for children with TB not being so rife. The sanatorium/hospital closed in the 60s. After it closed it was then used as a care home. The last company to run the care home was Diamond Care Ltd. After several scandals of inadequate care dating back to 2009 it was put in special measures in 2016 and closed in 2017.
I must admit the site is larger than I expected. With a central area with two matching wings going off. Then an additional wing to another section.
Lots of old beds and chairs around.
And an abundance of toilets.

This lower area was decaying badly.
The eating area had a floor what felt like you were walking on glue. So god knows what had been spilt here.
