Awesome place, the scale is just, well, huge!
You are right, the tiles on the floor are a finishing touch you just don't see elsewhere (certainly not here) and give it an almost clinical look. You just don't expect to see such a well finished turbine hall. Mind you that place deserves a tiled floor! Thanks for sharing and hopefully a few more folk will get to see it before the wrecking ball arrives.

...You definitely do get tiled turbine halls over here. Sure ours are a bit less utilitarian and a little grimier...
