visited with Georgie and Lee, we had been on a reccy previously and just ended up in the Tunnel top pub drinking the Amber Nectar and talking bollocks although we did take a wander down to the tunnel to see exactly what was what

If you get 3 minutes watch the video,

The tunnel is 1.2Km of watery underground luuurvelyness that was built in 1775 and over the years it has seen collapses and changes that have seen modern sections added including an impressive cathedral section and some air vents, much of the shonky brickwork has been spraycreted due to its poor condition.

This time there was no chit chat or talking bollocks, we were straight down to the waters edge and doing the dirty deed. also note how Uncle k is ready to go whilst Georgie and Lee lag behind in the pumping up Das Boot stakes.

Eventually Georgie and Lee were afloat and like ducks to water

About half way in you happen upon a large concrete section that exists due to a collapse in the 1980,s and now is called the Cathedrall

Leaving the cathedral we realised that we were over half way and the end was in sight so we pressed on regrdless
More paddling

Finally we made it out at the other end, it had taken quite a while and all the time hearing diesel trains zooming by and hoping that it wasnt a boat that was coming to meet us from the other end.

The pub was shut and we had been at it for a few hours now we had to walk back to the beginning but it was a great night with great company and lots of laughs.
