Report - RAF Nocton Hall - 01/12/06

Oxygen Thief

Staff member
Visited today with Tims, Madmax, Silverfox and Turkey.

(taken whilst walking)

First visited the burned out Nocton Hall.

Amazingly, there's still plenty to see, me and Turk seemed to be having a photography masterclass going on (or Photography for Dummies part 2).

Testing out my new lens, so the pics aren't fantastic.

The hospital itself is pretty big, probably the largest corridor I have seen. Lots of hand painted signage of the lowest quality.

We also got busted by the security owl, in the gym. We left that area as it was getting stressed. Please avoid that area if you visit.

Finally, up the water tower for the views...

Re: RAF Nocton Hall - 01/12/06 - REPORT

It was great to take OT and Turkey out to Nocton; I'm glad they both enjoyed it.
I always enjoy going back to this place, there's just something about it.
Love the wide angle corridor shot OT.
The Barn Owl was amazing (anyone else going please be keep an eye out for it, but be careful).
I've put quite a few pics up of this place in the past, so I'm just sticking a few random ones up.

1. a Dinosaur in the Hall basement
2. the Hall lift has seen better days
3. the Hospital's very long main corridor
4. the hall's basement rooms are split into shelters
5. outside the Hospital corridor a sheltered walkway continues for another 50 metres.
