This trip may be one of my favourite locations. Not necessarily because of the location itself. But because the first time I visited this place was with one of the most amazing people who is no longer with us. So this is a bitter sweet revisit. 🙏🏻
This base has been abandoned for a very long time now. And to my knowledge was supposed to be demolished in 2019 for property development but since revisiting they have only knocked down a select few buildings on the site leaving at least 10 buildings to access still.
This site hosts some of the most colourful walls with graffiti art from one of my favourite artists XFon who I believe is on Instagram under a different name but I won't attach as I don't have his permission to do so.
The site is still in great condition to explore but with a few 2nd story floors being a little damp and creaky I would advise to be extra careful.
Access to get in to the site is probably still one of the easiest locations to get into that we've visited.
