What was claimed to be the last working Victorian iron foundry in Essex... now there are none. An amazing place, and a real fish out of water as it is stuck in the middle of a beautiful village with posh houses... I bet they cant wait for it to be demolished!
Very intact inside, pattern store was amazing, all manner of patterns and even some sand moulds to look at. Lots of equipment in situ, but a faur bit of 'dereliction' which made the place a very atmospheric explore.
Myself and Turk climbed the couplar, so at least there are some shots from up there before it comes down... bloody ace view from the top!
