I know this has been done before and has been done recently by Vertigo but decided to give it a visit any way.
I went with Wilshure and Goan after we had been and explored the I.B.C Recovery Services Ltd warehouses. Made for a decent explore even if its mostly empty dark rooms inside with the odd peice of eqiptment and hobo bed:crazy haha.
As Vertigo says in his report the place was originally owned by Langbaurgh Borough Council which changed to Redcar and Cleveland council when the area name changed. Some old signs dotted around on the floor showed the Redcar and Cleveland logo but other than that you would struggle to guess what it would have been used for originally.
Any way hope you all enjoy and thanks to Wilshure and Goan for a cracking day!!
On with the photos
Ont outside
Me, Goan and Wilshure under the Sky Light in the main entrance area
One of the many empty rooms
Wilshure in the first room with noticable water damage
Skylight on 2nd floor and that awesome retro lift with gate AND slidey door!!
Wilshure heading up to the 3rd floor
Roof and ceiling totaled by rain damage
Some form of control pannel
While we were stood taking shots out of this doorway a chunk of rotton concrete fell out of the ceiling onto Wilshures head hahahaha
i was laughing my head off then thought we best move on if its getting unstable above our heads!!
Water tanks in the roof space
I like the shadows off the pillars on this pic
Old safes and an old sign from inside the building somewhere
Anybody care to tell me what this huge machine did that looks like a giant toaster
And finally some stripped out fuse boxes for the building
Job Done
Cheers for looking
Peace
