Report - Ridge Lea Hospital, Lancaster - June 2023

Just passing so popped into Ridge Lea .
The hospital is now a wreck people have damaged everything new fires have been set and lots of stuff has been thrown out of windows and lay all round the site,There's a lot of hole's appearing in the roof all around the building & lots of windows have no boarding up ,basement entrance points are just full of stuff out of the hospital and some of the stairwells have doors and stuff all over them, didn't bother going upstairs as it's all in the same condition. Worth a look if your in the are but not worth going out of your way for anymore

It's a sorry state now. Shame as it was a half decent place. But I guess that's the progression of derelict buildings..

I know the planning permission got turned down due to consequences on the surrounding area especially Bats

It's had lots of fires there but none of them luckily haven't seem to have taken hold of the building (yet)

That is in a dire state, glad I skipped it on the recent trip north!
