took a trip to this post after work one morning in good condition but the metal door at the top of the shaft is not secure.
nice view into Oxfordshire and didcot

Thanks for the update report when I visited here in June 2019 the Hatch was secure

Went this morning 27 may 2020 all open and unlocked it looks like the original locks have been cutoff and theres a far amount of rust so not recent.. and judge posts above last few months..,lots of footprints down stairs ,my first roc post explore ... hatch is a far as it goes down counter weight has been disabled and swings as you go down which seems to stop full closure ,post inside clean with surviveing battery box switch on wall and cableing with an old ordance survery map on wall and bench with some notes on and an old cupboard on floor ,going back to get more pics wednesday pics... i removed the access pics...
