The stone quarry was converted into a shadow factory during the war, and used by Royal Enfield afterwards as workshops. 2 former employees took it on after the workshop closed and continued working on bikes and cars for a period afterwards...
This place is EPIC, one of the best underground areas I have seen. The water is pretty much destroying the fixtures and fittings but there is still lots to see. The sinks in the washroom were stunning, so ornate for use in a works!
