This place has been on my radar for a while I so headed down with gabe336.
As we entered, we saw security wandering around so darted across the field to the chapel. Other than that, a nice relaxed explore: we even saw a little kid walking his dog on the site (almost mistook it for a guard dog!)
We explored the chapel, a block labelled ‘Megadene Office’ and the main hall block.
I heard about Indiana Jones being shot here, so was rather excited when I found a curious script in one of the offices (see picture 6), which seemed a bit too professional to be a school play. Googled it when I got home to find it’s the script to Chemical Wedding, a 2008 British B movie based on a script by Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden. The trailer’s here:
As awful as it looks, it’s interesting how they transform the place into a Satanic temple!
