After a fairly pleasant trip to Stone House in Dartford (certainly pleasant compared to our first visit there anyway), we decided to pop over the water and check out Runwell in Essex. Both of my fellow explorers had been there before, and said that there was a lot there.
I wasn't disappointed in that sense, although it was all a bit too modern and stripped for my tastes. That said, the Boiler-House was very nice, and as our visit was cut short by security (who apparently also called in the local constabulary
), there is certainly still a lot of the place that I didn't get to see.
A revisit is definitely in order.
