Local residents have begun to receive notification of the amended planning application to develop Sandhill Park. In brief the planning application proposes: -

■The conversion of the mansion into 18 apartments
■The conversion of outbuildings into a further 8 apartments
■Demolition of former hospital buildings and restoration to parkland
■Erection of 28 dwellings to the north of the house
