SHAFT TOWERS / FREYMING-MERLEBACH
History part one:
1978 I left school without learning French
History part two:
I drove the road, where I had read something like mining area somewhere.
I found three towers along that D26 road, gave them just a short photo visit,
it was already near sundown and I was on the way to somewhere else bunkerish.
I will go back there with some more time, there are also a few buildings left, that need a check.
One is reused for something with horses.
History part three:
...is a do it yourself one, some links I can not read because of language problems,
but that give some infos and can be a base for some location search.

Great, we drove up to these on a trip once too. It was too hot to stand outside for too long and there wasn't anything inside the buildings.
