Really glad I went to this place - I'd seen it from the train on many occasions before I even knew what Urbex was. I decided it was one I definitely had to cross of the list and as I was in Oxford over the weekend it was only a short hop away.
There is 24hr security on site so PM me if you're interested in visiting as there is a very easy way in that keeps you the best part of a kilometer from their cabin. The site is so immense that they have virtually no chance of spotting you if you keep a low profile. Unfortunately I didn't know this when I visited...
Anyway, pictures...
The tower that this place is probably best known for...
South of the main site is the area where the trucks were refuelled, along with a canteen apparently 'open' for business...
Part of an old fuel pump...
And another...
What remains of what looked like the truck reloading building...
Some graf I rather liked...
Speed limit sign as you enter from the South of the site...
A little too late for me...
