After going to the wrong place the last time we decided to call up again to go to the right one this time. It was again a 6 O'clock start and this was the first of the two places we had planed to go.
No wonder we didn't find this one the last time as its miles away from the other, also with the rain we've had over the last few weeks the river was at busting point, so a quick wade across was out of the question. A rethink was in order and a quick look on google on my phone found a couple of mile detour to get to the place. About half hour later we were at the door and found it was worth the trip.
I can find very little history on the place, but I know it was working until the early 80s then opened as a working museum for a while. Then one winter the bridge was washed away and that was that.
