Report - South & North casemates Dover

Visited with jackal but thanks to Ali and Nik24 who pointed us in the right direction to give us something to do while they went of to dinner

After another threat of invasion from Napoleon III two new dry moats where added these both had there own casemates.

The southern casemate is larger than the north with 8 rooms where as the north only has 6, the two are joined together by an old sewer pipe which you have to crawl through

Crawl? If you can crawl through there you must be of a smaller statue than me that’s for sure (about the size of a hamster) I done the pipe the other day and it was a squeeze that’s for sure.

this was 11 years ago ,monk may nto be heading back to dover for some time
