Spirit of Stratford is a 41 story new build thats been rapidly going up in Stratford outside of the Olympic grounds. I have been tormented by the crane on this site for too long and after driving passed it 20+ times within the last few months I decided enough was enough and if it didn't happen now it never would. This coupled with the fact that I've been wanting to see the Olympic site from above for some time.
Probably the best thing Ive climbed in the city to date and whilst reflecting on the hour long access in at the top, I realised that it was actually everything involved with infiltrating and evading that 'does it' for me.
Flood lights, fences, hoarding, dogs, builders, cameras, noisy scaff and nosey neighbors from the opposite Athena tower still didn't deter us from reaching the top. The only thing I wished was different was that I had a better camera but thats but a minor snag in the blanket of win for this night. Visited with Ali-explores
