Amazing place, visited with Pod, Dreamworx, and Silverstealth. Massive thank you to Mr Silverstealth for showing us the tenby nightlife and for the hospitality.

We went between tides, so were on the island for a whole day. Exellent building, absolutely everything about it stands out, and makes for brilliant photography. Access was fine in the morning, but exiting the place was comedy, and in full view of many people....

BRIEF HISTORY

St Catherine’s Fort lies on a small island just off the coast of Tenby in West Wales. It was built in the 1870 to protect the Pembrokeshire coast from possible invasion by France. There are gun embrasures down both the Northern and Southern sides. It was never called to action and was eventually sold and has been many things since including a zoo.

PHOTOS

Photos all unedited and shot for the first time totally on manual setting - any feedback is appreciated.

2) Amazing views, was a gorgous day. I went to sleep for about an hour in the sun trying to lose the hangover :-(
