On the feast of SS Peter and Paul, 29 June 1869, a quiet ceremony was performed by Archbishop Manning and the community. The foundation stone of the Missionary college was laid. By the end of February 1871, the college, though not complete, was ready to be occupied. The Mill Hill Missionaries moved out in June 2008.

Later use has seen a fair bit of filming going on, most notably perhaps is Psychoville.

"I know what you did"

After a weekend mooching about we decided to have a look at this place at the last minute. Its very empty but the building has nice character. A very relaxed Sunday morning wander was had by all. The bell tower is pretty ropey in places but most of the rest of the site is clean. Stripped but clean.

Welcome to the tourist trail.

On 31 March 1874 the church was consecrated.
