Took a look around this site today, its a big old site, well trashed and stripped - but still an interesting wander!
Buildings range from v. old, to late 80's

(Do they add, or remove, 'Bio-Sludge' when making cider?

Quick pic of site:

Red outline is the cider works:

The two buildings outlined in green are also empty.

This is the larger one:

Quick update on this one, as couple of people PM'd me for access etc.

The 'extra building (top of picture, circled in green) WAS part of the ciderworks - turns out this was the main admin block for the site - so might be worth a look.

I've been reluctant to write this in case it comes across the wrong way, but I take it you did not get into the main building. It seems from the pics that if there was going to be anything of any age or interest it would be in the wooden buildings...

"I've been reluctant to write this!..." "blimey that started like a "Dear John" letter!" LOL

I covered most of the site, but, as you say, didn't get into the old wooden building. (this one)

or this one (which, I have since been told was the old laboratories)

These were not covered, partly due to lack of time, but mainly because they both would have involved a climb - and this was a solo visit (so probably not worth risking it) :thumb
