First stop of the German tour. Wasn't sure what to expect here, like many places on the trip I hadn't seen many pictures for awhile. We were only really stopping by on the way to Wunsdorf, was only expecting to check out the tower but was pleasantly surprised. It was mostly quite bare, but had lots of Soviet medical records lying about and some nice murals. Annoyingly we somehow managed to miss the main building!
Unfortunately the tower is inaccessible, its access is on the third floor of the building its attached to and all the floors around it have collapsed. Still a beauty though!
Struggled to find any history on it, looks like it was built some time between 1890-1910, and like most places in this part of the world it was used as a Soviet military hospital from 1945-1994.
